The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) is an immigration program that favours foreign nationals who possess the skills and experience needed in the province. Through this program, prospective immigrants with the skills and experience targeted by the province may receive a Saskatchewan Provincial Nomination Certificate, which will allow that foreign national to apply for Canadian Permanent Residence with processing times that are faster than other Canadian immigration classes.
The provincial government selects individuals who wish to establish themselves in the province and contribute to the local economy. Saskatchewan’s program identifies skilled workers, farmers, entrepreneurs, international students and individuals from certain professions in demand, and helps them to settle in Saskatchewan.
The province operates several immigration streams divided among four categories:
For skilled applicants who are planning to live and work in Saskatchewan
For skilled workers who have received a job offer from an employer in Saskatchewan. The job must be approved by the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)

Saskatchewan Express Entry allows the province to nominate experienced and skilled foreign nationals who are in the IRCC Express Entry Pool. There are three federal economic immigration programs:

This category is for foreign workers that are currently living in Saskatchewan. The Saskatchewan Experience Category accepts applications under the following difference sub-categories:
Existing Work Permit Sub-Category — This sub-category is for individuals who have been working in Saskatchewan for at least six months under a closed work permit or under a working holiday visa.
Health Professions Sub-Category — This sub-category is for individuals who have worked as a physician, a nurse, or in other health professions in Saskatchewan for at least six months.
Hospitality Sector Pilot Project — This sub-category is for individuals that are currently working in Saskatchewan as food and beverage servers, food counter attendants, kitchen helpers, or housekeeping and cleaning staff for at least six months. The employer must receive approval from the Province of Saskatchewan before the applicant begins work in Canada.
Long Haul Truck Drivers Sub-Category — This sub-category is for individuals that are currently working for an approved trucking firm in Saskatchewan for at least six months. Drivers must be working in Saskatchewan for a minimum of six months before applying.
Students Sub-Category — This sub-category is for students who have graduated from a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada. Among the requirements, the student must have worked in Saskatchewan for at least twenty-four months before applying, or for six months if the institution is in Saskatchewan.
The SINP’s International Graduate Entrepreneur Category offers a pathway to Canadian permanent residence for international graduates from eligible Saskatchewan institutions who wish to establish, acquire or partner in an eligible business in the province.
If invited to apply and approved, participants will have to operate and manage a business in Saskatchewan for at least one year and own at least one-third of the equity in a qualified business in order to be eligible for a provincial nomination for permanent residence.
