Most immigration programs are driven by workers seeking employment, the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program invites employers to apply for a designation allowing them to hire foreign workers.To participate, employers must meet certain requirements, including a commitment to support the newcomer and their family as they integrate into their new life in Atlantic Canada.
Skilled foreign workers and international students can apply for permanent residence in Atlantic Canada through AIPP. The AIPP Canada allows the applicants to live and work in one of Canada’s four Atlantic Provinces: Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.
Under AIPP program, employers that are designated by the Atlantic provinces will not need an LMIA to hire an eligible foreign worker.
The Atlantic employers hire qualified candidates for jobs that they have not been able to fill locally. The AIPP has three programs for employees High Skilled, Intermediate Skilled, and International Graduate categories.
